A beautiful hand painted Italian small tray or dish in the 'Corallo' (translates as 'Coral' in English).  This design features the colour of 'Coral Red predominantly as the background to the foliage and fruit.  The centre of the plate is in a lovely cream colour.

The tray measures 280mm long and 130mm wide and has a handle on each end.  On the back of the tray the artist who painted it has painted by hand <MOD> which stands for 'Majolica of Deruta' (the name of the company that has made this item) and then 'Deruta Italy' where the plates are made and the 'Dip. a Mano' which is short hand for 'Dipinto a mano' which translates from Italian as 'Painted by Hand'.
